The title of this weblog is a play on two words ~ Zen and Enlightened ~
Zen for the style of Buddhism at the heart of all my meditations/my life.
Enlightened for state of mind I’ve tasted… so blissfully empty I can’t forget!
I combine poetry, nature, yoga and photography on Zenlightened.com to help me connect with the moment, to the the spirit of the moment. To taste it, touch it, feel it, see it, smell it and hear it – unbiased as possible.
Since I am not Japanese – a British Columbian inspired by the Japanese poets – I call my poems Haiku Inspired.
Photography makes me feel philosophical – perhaps, as in meditating, both involve looking.
I hope you enjoy the poems and pictures. I’ve enjoyed bringing them here…
